DESCRIPTION:The Hellenic-Spanish Chamber of Commerce successfully held its annual Κοπή Πίτας (Kopi Pita)\, bringing together members\, partners\, and institutional representatives to mark the beginning of the new year in a spirit of connection and shared purpose. \nWe were deeply honored by the presence of the Ambassador of Spain\, Jorge Domecq\, as well as Zoe Rapti\, Deputy Minister of Development of the Hellenic Republic. Their participation highlights the significance of strengthening bilateral engagement and the growing commercial ties between Greece and Spain. \nThe event\, held at the Hotel Meliá Athens\, reflected not only the strength of the Chamber’s network but also the positive momentum and collaborative spirit that will guide our activities in the year ahead. It was an excellent opportunity for professionals and business leaders to toast to a prosperous 2026 full of cooperation. \nAcknowledgments the Spanish Chamber extend our sincere appreciation to Meliá Hotels International Athens for hosting the event and for sponsoring the delicious aperitif. We acknowledge the contribution and service of the outgoing members:\nThanasis Tsantilas (Rokas Renewables (Iberdrola International)\, SUSANA DOLADO RUDILLA (Santander Consumer Finance)\, George Georgopoulos (Pescanova Hellas)\, Rodanthi Tzortzaki (@Navas y Cusi)\, Michael Kokkinos (MOPTIL – Mobile Optical Illusions)\, Ana de Miguel García\, Evangelos Manoudakis. \nFollowing the electoral process\, the new Board has been constituted as follows:\nMyrto Vassiloglou (AMADEUS HELLAS S.A.)\, Lesmes Nachón Suárez (Hotel Vinci)\, Chryssa Giannopoulou (Ecoener)\, Thanasis Tsantilas (Rokas Renewables (Iberdrola International)\, SUSANA DOLADO RUDILLA (Santander Consumer Finance)\, George Georgopoulos (Pescanova Hellas)\, Michael Kokkinos (MOPTIL – Mobile Optical Illusions). \nIn his address\, President Michael Kokkinos summarized the work of the past term\, highlighting a clear trajectory of impact and institutional strengthening:\nStrengthening Greece–Spain bilateral ties through targeted\, Chamber-led initiatives with tangible ecosystem impact \nSupporting for a second consecutive year the Greek delegation at Mobile World Congress\, evolving this effort into a more structured\, intergovernmental collaboration.\nElevating the role of Chamber committees as focused value-creation engines across key sectors.\nDriving initiatives that translate into measurable business and investment opportunities.\nPositioning the Chamber as a forward-looking catalyst for the 2026–2027 period. \nThe Chamber continues its work with a clear mandate: to deepen bilateral engagement\, create measurable value for its members\, and act as a credible platform for strategic cooperation between Greece and Spain. \nThe Chamber extend our appreciation to Hotel Meliá Athens (Meliá Hotels International) for hosting the Assembly\, and to its Director\, Stavros Stavropoulos\, for the excellent arrangements and support. \nThank all members for their active participation and continued trust. \n
