Thessaloniki International Fair. “Extroversion for a Strong Greece” 07/09/2026

The Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce attended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic event “Extroversion for a Strong Greece” in Thessaloniki, as part of the Chamber’s programme of meetings and engagements around the Thessaloniki International Fair.
The event brought together senior representatives of the Greek Government and the business community to discuss Greece’s international economic outlook and priorities. Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, Deputy Foreign Minister Harry Theoharis, Dimitris Skalkos, Secretary General for International Economic Affairs and Openness, and Nikos Vayiannis, CEO of Export Credit Greece S.A., presented key aspects of Greece’s international economic strategy, including the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan for Extroversion.
For the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce, staying closely connected to Greece’s evolving international economic agenda is an important part of our role in supporting our members and the wider Greek-Spanish business community. Understanding the country’s strategic priorities allows the Chamber to better identify areas of mutual interest, facilitate dialogue and create opportunities for trade, investment and business cooperation between Greece and Spain.
Through its active presence in key economic and institutional forums, the Chamber continues to strengthen its role as a platform for dialogue and a bridge between the Greek and Spanish business ecosystems, connecting companies and institutions with relevant developments and opportunities in both markets.
